Questions we hear before we start.
Practical answers on choosing a program, working together, fees and data.
Getting started
Where do we start?
Bring the problem or goal. You don’t need to choose a service first; a founder or principal expert will help identify a practical starting point.
What should we bring to the first conversation?
Your priority, the outcome you want and a little context about your team and tools. A high-level description is enough; access and confidential material can follow once the boundaries are agreed.
Which of the three offers fits us?
Custom AI Agents & Systems builds a solution to a specific problem. AI Transformation Programs develops lasting capability through business initiatives or engineering change. AI Training & Enablement builds practical skills through guided work.
Can we start smaller?
Yes. Choose a focused engineering service around a codebase or delivery measurement, or an accelerator for one group. Each can stand on its own.
Can we buy through a partner we already use?
Yes. Amotion works with you directly or through a channel partner you already buy from.
Custom AI Agents & Systems
What kind of agents do you build?
Custom AI systems and agents built around specific business problems: governed answers from enterprise data, invoice processing, contract review, company knowledge assistants, sales copilots and more.
Where does the agent run?
Inside your environment, connected to your systems with your permissions. Nothing is sent to a tool your organisation has not approved.
How do we know it works?
Every agent ships with evaluation tests and a performance baseline. We measure how the work runs today, test the agent on cases drawn from your own work, and track it in operation against that starting point.
Who makes the decisions?
Your people. The agent prepares the work and a named person approves wherever a decision matters. Nothing posts without the review you set.
What do we own at the end?
The working system, its documentation, the operating knowledge and a proper handover. Larger programs can run as Build–Operate–Transfer.
AI Transformation Programs
What does the AI Champion Program build?
An internal AI Center of Excellence around real business priorities. Discovery identifies five high-impact opportunities; together, we select which initiatives to build and validate during the four months. The remaining initiatives stay on your roadmap.
Who takes part in the AI Champion Program?
A leadership sponsor, a Center of Excellence owner and 10–15 internal champions with protected time. Amotion provides implementation support and weekly guidance, with monthly management reviews. Remote and on-site delivery is agreed with you.
How long does an engagement run?
The AI Champion Program runs for four months. AI-native SDLC typically runs for 6–9 months on live software projects.
What is the AI-native SDLC pod?
Three embedded engineers work full-time with your project, backed by a principal expert for design and reviews. Each team supports one dedicated project or two smaller projects side by side. You provide an engineering lead and protected time from your team.
Do we have to replace our tools?
No. We work with your approved tools and systems. For AI-native SDLC, that includes repositories, tickets and documentation. Any tool change follows a clear reason and your approval.
Can AI-native SDLC start with a mature or legacy product?
Yes. Our engineering work is mostly on established codebases. We begin with the current code, integrations and release constraints.
How is progress measured?
AI Champions: agree measures for the selected initiatives, establish baselines where possible, track progress weekly and review results monthly; the program ends with a review against agreed targets. AI-native SDLC: establish your baseline in month one, then review DORA and project-specific measures monthly, with weekly decisions on blockers and next steps.
AI Training & Enablement
How do Business Teams and Domain-Specific differ?
Business Teams focuses on everyday documents, knowledge and recurring tasks across functions. Domain-Specific uses your sector’s documents, terminology and review requirements. Both teach reusable AI workflows with human review; neither requires coding.
Do participants work on our own code and documents?
Engineering Teams: prepared projects are standard; use of your own codebase is agreed separately. Business Teams and Domain-Specific: builds use agreed company or sector material, tasks and review criteria.
How long is an accelerator?
Engineering Teams: five weeks, about 100 contact hours; follow-up practice is additional. Business Teams: 4–5 weeks, with 44 hours of live training. Domain-Specific: four weeks, with 20 sessions of two hours.
What happens before the first session?
Preparation typically takes 10–14 days. We configure a separate workspace or your approved environment, and prepare the tools, access and projects or material for the chosen accelerator.
How do we know the training worked?
We assess participants before and after the program on agreed practical tasks. Reviewed builds and reusable workflows show what they can apply. This assesses learning; it does not guarantee improvements in company delivery metrics.
Who are the trainers?
Claude Certified Architects (CCAR-F) with delivery experience across engineering and business workflows.
DORA Metrics & Dashboards
Is DORA included in the Engineering Teams Accelerator?
No. DORA Metrics & Dashboards is a separate offering. DORA-based dashboards are also part of AI-native SDLC transformation.
What does the standalone DORA program involve?
Two weeks, with 40 hours of training and coaching. We guide your team to define measures, build and validate a dashboard from live delivery data, and establish a review process.
Who builds and runs the dashboard?
Your team builds, implements and runs it with our guidance. You provide an owner, agreed data access, tools and time. Custom integration development and ongoing operation by Amotion require a separate scope.
Who is responsible for delivery performance?
Your organisation owns delivery decisions, process changes and company performance. Amotion is responsible for the agreed training and coaching, not for achieving or guaranteeing changes in your company’s delivery metrics.
Fees, data and results
How are fees structured?
Each engagement is scoped after a first conversation. On AI-native SDLC engagements, part of our fee can be tied to success measures we agree with you, taken from your own baseline.
What happens to our data and code?
We agree six boundaries before work begins, including approved environments, revocable access, data and model limits, and ownership. We sign your NDA and data processing agreement before any access is granted.
How do you handle AI governance and compliance?
Governance is built into the work. We follow your organisation’s policies, use only approved providers, agree data boundaries in writing, document every human approval point and keep an audit trail your risk and compliance teams can review.
How are you different from a consultancy, a tool vendor or a training provider?
Implementation and transformation combine hands-on work, agreed measures and ownership transfer. Accelerators focus on practical capability through guided projects. The Working with us page compares engagement scope, including when another option fits better.
Which AI models do you use?
The AI tools and providers your organisation approves. Amotion is a registered member of the Claude Partner Network and an OpenAI Select Partner.
Can you guarantee results?
We agree measures and targets for the engagement, but do not guarantee a particular business result. Outcomes depend on the starting point, scope and your team’s decisions and participation.
