Amotion is the company behind Timo. Before there was any platform, there were the people: scripts, playbooks, and our own engineers working inside customers’ repos — documenting legacy systems, installing review discipline, training teams. Timo is that year of work, turned into software.
The method survived contact with real legacy code.
Not toy examples. A 5,500-file legacy Java codebase, documented end-to-end — every claim cited to file:line or flagged as a gap. An 875K-line production Flutter app, taken through the same disciplines. All of it by hand, before any platform existed.

What it couldn't do: repeat without us
The method worked when our people were in the room. Take them out, and it stopped. A method that needs its authors present isn't a product yet.
What it couldn't do: prove itself in numbers
We saw it working. But “we saw it” is not a scoreboard — a CTO deserves baselines, targets, and owners, not our word.
What it couldn't do: close its own loop
Every lesson learned had to be carried forward by hand. Nothing updated itself. The knowledge lived with us instead of in the customer's repos.
Those three gaps are the platform’s job. That’s Timo.
